I had high hopes for Landoll's Mohican Castle, but my experience was quite disappointing. While the grounds are beautiful and some rooms are charming, my initial room was dark and drafty, and I encountered several issues that were really frustrating. On the plus side, the restaurant served good food and I did appreciate prompt service when I requested to change rooms.

We had a nice romantic getaway for our anniversary at the castle, which was an inviting and peaceful place to escape to. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. However, the dining experience was hit or miss; while breakfast was excellent, dinner left a lot to be desired with some poorly prepared dishes. Overall, it’s a lovely spot, but I hope they improve their evening service.
